Used as a leavening agent, dough conditioner, buffer, nutritional supplement, stabilizer, and emulsifier in the food industry. Commonly applied in flour, cakes, pastries, baked goods, bread improvers, fried food conditioners, biscuits, milk powder, cold drinks, and ice cream powder.
