Product Properties
Diacetone Acrylamide is a white to slightly yellow flaky crystal. It is soluble in water, methanol, benzene, tetrahydrofuran, and most other organic solvents, but insoluble in petroleum ether. The monomer readily polymerizes with a variety of comonomers, forming polymers with strong water absorption.
Typical physical data: Melting Point 54-56°C; Boiling Point 120°C (8 mmHg); Flash Point >110°C; Purity ≥99.0%.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Keep containers tightly closed. Product is hygroscopic; avoid direct sunlight and moisture.
Packing
Available in 1kg/bag, 25kg/bag, 25kg/drum, or customized according to customer requirements.
Application
Diacetone Acrylamide is a highly utilized cross-linking agent. It is widely used in the following areas:
Adhesives & Coatings: Enhances adhesion, durability, and corrosion resistance.
Resin Processing: Copolymerizes with epoxy and unsaturated polyester resins to improve mechanical strength and heat resistance.
