N-acetylmorpholine is a very important pesticide intermediate and one of the main raw materials for synthesizing agricultural fungicides such as dimethomorph and flumorph. The mixture of N-acetylmorpholine and N-formylmorpholine is an excellent acidic gas remover for natural gas and syngas, and is used in the Morphysorb new process developed abroad in recent years. The extraction of low-quality natural gas or syngas requires the removal of trace components such as CO₂ and H₂S, and the use of physical solvents is particularly advantageous for gases with high contents of CO₂ and H₂SO.
