【Application】

- High-refractive-index optical resins – Key monomer for polycarbonates, polyesters, and epoxy resins achieving nD = 1.620–1.646 with near-zero birefringence (Δn as low as 0.00007). Used in smartphone lenses, camera lenses, automotive displays, LCD/OLED polarizing films.

- Engineering plastics – Building block for BPA‑free, high‑heat polycarbonates with excellent transparency and mechanical strength.

- UV‑curable coatings & adhesives – Monomer for UV‑curable epoxy acrylate oligomers in optical waveguides, protective films, semiconductor packaging.

- Advanced polymers – Used in fluorene‑based epoxy resins, polyurethanes, polyarylates, polyethers, polyesters with outstanding thermal stability and flame retardancy.

- Dental materials – Dimethacrylate derivative reduces polymerization shrinkage by ~22% vs. Bis‑GMA.

- Optical films – Modifies orientation birefringence in cellulose ester films for photographic and polarizer protection layers.
